Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

As a big rig driver, it's nice to know that everyone around you is aware of your intentions (just in case you missed the SMART car zipping pass at the moment you decided to change lanes).

As far as trimming down an escalade mirror, I've got no problem with GM, but I'm not going to start using GM parts on a 996.

Why...does anyone on the road actually use their blinkers??
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

BTW, Maci...it looks a LOT better than I thought it was gonna...but I'm still not a fan.
i have searched everywere and no result on how to integrate side mirror turn LED.......i have heard of some taking a larger oem mirror frm escalade or suburban and cutting it down?
It's a great feature to have on larger vehicles (suv's, pickups, etc.... especially when towing) that have a lot of blind spots. As a big rig driver, it's nice to know that everyone around you is aware of your intentions (just in case you missed the SMART car zipping pass at the moment you decided to change lanes). However, I don't thing the benifits associated with side blinkers are really relevant to P-Cars.... unless you consider a Cayenne towing a trailer to be a P-Car.
+1
Even on bigger sedans it's an okay feature.
Semi-useless and rather unattractive on the 996. What is there, 4 ft between the mirror and the rear signal light?

I'm not sure I understand your statement. Your thread title asked
will u consider this on the sides of car.....
You didn't ask if anyone would put this on their Porsche, 911, 996, C2, C4, etc, etc., so the question was not exclusive to a particular make, model, or year of car.
Easy there Maci. Tim is a former 996 owner and always welcome here.
He knows a ton about these cars and his opinion is one that I (and many others here) personally value.
Ummm, no - nothing you have posted for "considering" is worth considering. Why the heck would you want to rice up your car with this cheap looking crap? There's plenty of really cool stuff you can get to mod your car and make it even more awesome looking than it already is, yet you keep gravitating toward gimmicky, ricey, crap..

Cmon, you gotta see it!
It's starting to remind me of your Hot-Wheels Pcar!
BTW, Maci...it looks a LOT better than I thought it was gonna...but I'm still not a fan. I think it would be better w/ a different shape/style of LED. Maybe a half moon shape? Dunno. Just my 2 cents.
OK, I removed the Ignore block and took a look.
I agree with you that it looks better than I thougt it would. The good news is that at least the arrow is pointing in the correct direction.
