Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

HMMMMM, what IS he thinking
"600! Interested in an '04 C4S with 3100 miles that's absolutely new? Just happen to have one here languishing - I mean "sitting" - in my garage! :cheers"
"Rem - very nice car, nice colors and well-equipped. Of course it has 36K miles (as opposed to 3K) but for the money it sounds like a good deal. Look it over carefully, and have a full PPI done before you put down a cent on it. Good luck. Sure you don't want mine for a mere $17K more?? "
"I'd consider an offer in that in that range for mine, and it's an '04 with 3K miles, flawless, nicely equipped, and CPO'd til 2010. I think $52K is a little high for an '05 with 25K miles. Price obvioulsy also depends on color, equipment and condition. Happy hunting!! "
The correct answer is #4 (which you haven't listed): "All of the above." I think I just have a very bad case of the winter blues. Once Spring comes and the weather improves, I will put the top down on my TT, and drive the Porsche on the weekends. Well, my version of "driving" anyway. Unless I got a really solid offer for the car, I wouldn't sell it - not in this market. Everytime I think about selling it, I look at what I've got, take it for a spin, and think - this is the really one of the nicest cars out there.
That being said, given the above choices, #3 is the most correct one.
I screwed this up last night, we had a streak of #3's going then "I GOT CONFUSED" LOL and deleted it ... I thought maybe it was too much and thought i wasnt sure anyone would see the humor... and I surely did not want to offend Phil.. just wasnt sure I was the right guy for this gag...
Morning Phil !!
LOL
Glad to see you smiling
Too funny! I was actually thinking something similar about how it sounds like you have some type of love / hate relationship with the car Phil and want to get rid of it but don't.
Wow - Phil's car comes of CPO in less than a year.. what a complete waste of money to buy a car just so you can look at it and tell people you own it.. it still isn't even broken in yet, and has cost him tens of thousands of dollars just to sit in his garage. Amazing. and Sad.
What was the point in buying it?
I've stopped telling people I own it.
I really do love owning it though, even though it's driven under 1K/year. This is not the first car I've done this with. But seriously, try not to be so judgmental - just because I own certain cars for a different reason than you might doesn't make it wrong. We all do strange stuff.
Correct on both counts! I have to admit when I see my name in the title of a post, I start to sweat.
By the way, I don't like the way this poll is going. Even though I voted for #3 myself!!
I am surprised that ANYONE would say he should sell it... I was hoping for a solid "he's old"
This is not meant to be mean, just ribbing him...howerer

Did he just reply and quote himself???? *(Post #5)
I believe he loves that car !!
Here are the unalienable truths.
i) Phil loves his car
ii) Phil is old
iii) Phil is so old that he doesn't remember that he loves his car.
iv) Phil is so old that he doesn't remember where he left his car.
v) Phil has a car?
next time you see him Wayne, tie a string from his car to his finger... everytime he gets curious "what's this string for" and follows it, he will end up at the car.....
OK, since this is "Phil's Thread" I can bring this up again.
Ed you weren't here when Phil had his "little green 3/4 circle" incident, were you? If you have never read that thread you need to do so. Below is a link to it. Just make sure you aren't drinking anything as you progress your way through it, or you'll have liquid all over your keyboard and monitor.

I don't post too much - but I follow Phil's saga, not driving, selling, etc. I gotta say, I'm impressed with his sportsmanship on this post.
Phil - here's to you.
Yes, I saw the "green circle" that one is priceless....
when you start like that it's a tough road to being "cool" but Phil somehow does it!! Like many have said, great sport....
Too damn funny !
Yeah, for all the crap we (especially Wayne and I) give Phil, I must say that he takes it very well. Phil is a true gentleman and a good friend to me, even though we have never met in person.
Oh man, I'm starting to get a little teary eyed! <sniff, sniff>
Don't let Wayne's and Tim's sentimentality get to you. It's just the alcohol talking. I know, because my consumption has gone up dramatically in the last few months, too. Drinking lots of that Kentucky favorite "Old 401K."
EXPENSIVE STUFF !!! and seems to give me the WORST headache that just wont go away !!
I'ld laugh, but I cant,
I'ld cry by the eye sockets ran out of tears.
