I ran the UAV feeds into a few places, among other things.
Leading evidence: 'Run uav feeds into a few places, among other things' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'safest flight you can take' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). The most frequently discussed action is 'Check chamber' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Do you have any idea how many *professionals* blow their face off because they removed the magazine - and forgot to check the chamber?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi
Chad here. Yes, I sold the 911 and bought an M3. So far she is a great car and cannot wait to mod the beastie and take her to the track.
cheers,
Chad

Hey I've flow that bird many of times,,,, felt funny my first time back in the early 90's "getting into a commercial liner with weapons that is".
Only thing is that you were probably not issued that weapon in your right hand, but the one in your left is most likely yours. Unless your CO decided to have all 2nd LT's have them issued for the PITA efforts of training..

Those flights are reserved for those defending the security of our country. GOD BLESS THOSE GUYS!!!!!
But, as Dan said, probably the safest flight you can take
I have to agree about the trigger finger not being straight and off the trigger. Bad example. The funniest part about those flights though was that knives are not allowed on the plane even though you were carrying a pistol and a rifle. I had to carry both weapons because of being aircrew. What a pain in the *** to carry both around everywhere.
Since you dont know about gun safety...
The ONLY time you put your finger on the trigger is when youre prepared to pull it - period!
Looking cool is what causes accidents.
I know plenty.....the point is your slap a** remark toward somebody that wasn't trying to look cool but rather somebody trying to keep your a** free and secure.
This forum gets tired quickly of you 10-15 total posting, forums lurking, users that only speak up when it's time to say something stupid.
This was/is a fun light hearted thread as evident by RIAD's last post (damn you RIAD the retina in my eye's has been flash burned
).
Enough already boys. And don't get me started about the real purpose of soldiers in the middle east.... Keeping me free and secure? Aren't we being a tad nave? Don't get me wrong, I think the U.S. has some of the best and bravest men and women in the military, but as far as the reason they're over there......debatable at best..... (IMHO of course)
True....but support is what they need not doubt. Not to mention some idiot telling a soldier how to hold his gun. That is what PM is for.
Ok, back on topic........
Dan, moderators don't deal with this type of banter. As you can see, it was self-policed and now (hopefully) back on track.
But I do I agree with you (as I stated....that is what PM is for).
FYI....poitical rant, etc., would be on the OFF TOPIC forum, but people like SOCALGREG can't access it as a user (only avail to members).
Holy crap. Maybe I should have posted this instead?
RLTW. Hoooah! Actually the M16 was mine, and the 9mm was my buddies.
As for the peanut gallery, you obviously aren't in the military, or you would know that the bolts, magazines, etc, aren't even in the weapon. It was a charted flight that flew into the Gulf under the cover of darkness with heavy security (after about seven random stops at various bases for fuel). Not exactly a domestic puddle jumper.
Yep, former Drill Sergeant turned SIGO. I ran the UAV feeds into a few places, among other things. Spent a year in theater, then came home for a little while, then got recalled again in Nov, and just finished an additional six months last month.
As for my Boxster, the cause of failure is still unknown. They pulled the plugs and there was no issue there. The started is fried, but probably because the engine seized up and wouldn't turn over, causing it to go. Totally random failure, whatever it is, that's for sure. Hope PCNA is listening. I was the only owner and have all the maint records etc. Never tracked, mostly highway miles from when I first got it (40k miles the first two years and about 30k in the next four combined).
Anyone have any advice with these "out of warranty" but never should happen random failures? Anyone get PCNA to pony up and stand behind their products?
I didn't mind the gun pic, but that lousy Red Sox pic really crosses the line. GO YANKS!
If you love em when the times are good, you gotta love them when the times are bad. You Sox fans should no better than anyone.

cknowledging the fact that a Ranger is a more elite soldier who arrives at the cutting edge of battle by land, sea or air, I accept the fact that as a Ranger my country expects me to move further, faster and fight harder than any other soldier.

For those who don't know.
Say it ain't so Todd. say it ain't so (sample from quote directed at shoeless joe)
I guess growing up in DC we didn't have much to root for on the east coast? Some of us in DC are Sox fans the others Yanks nd a small percentage O's. I chose Sox since Clemens (my childhood idol) went to UT and I used to watch him pitch from the right field fence as a kid living at my Mom's house during the school year (divorced parents....TX and DC) then graduating from UT back in 96. Now that the NATS are in town and actually good, I guess I can have an AL team and a NL team. I think that should be safe since I don't ever see them meeting in the WS!
Right reasoning, wrong town. I grew up in a very, very rural town in Oklahoma (1,500 population, one stoplight, 33 kids in each class -- that took kids from the neighboring town -- and 15 miles from the capitol of the Cherokee Nation). There were no local teams, obviously. We had no cable, so the braves were out of the question. What team was on TV every weekend? You guessed it, the Yanks (and the Cincinnati Reds, which I also like). You love the one you're with!
WERD! if you are talking about keeping me secure, get bin laden (who was completely forgotten) and don't conjure up some story about weapons of mass distraction. PUHLEESE!!!
Greg, Karlooz et all, pick up a weapon yourself and find him, and you can quit complaining.
BTW, I have never claimed to agree with, nor made foreign policy. I just uphold your right to criticize it. Take your banter to Capitol Hill and leave it off a friggin car chat room already.
Patriot 6 out.
Here is me with Boris Said...you better know who he is. For those that don't, Boris is the tall one. lol. This pick was taken two years ago at the BMWCCA tent at Sears Point (I still can't say Infineon). I used to be a M3 owner, etc. Tim
Lets see... irresponsibly wield a couple of guns on a plane, question my experience as a defense, and change the subject when proven wrong.
Our militarys finest.
No...YOU changed the subject...it's "Post Your MUG" in case you've forgotten. If you'd like to continue to prove, or disprove your point, start a new thread in OT...I'm sure you'll have some takers.
Niiiiice response. If we look at this logically, we know that all military folk are required to have weapons training to the nth degree. Meaning...DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THAT THEY ARE LOADED WITH A CARTRIDGE IN THE CHAMBER....AND... THE SAFETY IS NOT ON??
Note to the uneducated. The clip isn't even in the rifle.
gawd
Now back to the regularly scheduled program. PLEASE!!!
C.
It's NOT a discussion about guns...lest you have forgotten. Perhaps you are the one that needs to 'accept and release'....? Just a thought? Lighten up bud...
Do you have any idea how many *professionals* blow their face off because they removed the magazine - and forgot to check the chamber?
If you want to look at it logically, youll need to first pull your head outta your ***, and quit defending irresponsible behavior - just because someones a Rennlist member.
Troll alert...... troll alert. No need to respond to registered users with minimal posts when they get OT like this. These guys are always fishing for a fight. (and we always seem to take the bait)
Pay your dues or shut the f up and quit wasting our time.
If your point is that it is a bad practice to handle firearms this way under any circumstances, then you are undoubtedly correct. I am sure that KY Soldier checked to make sure that, despite the otherwise bad handling practice, his weapons were in fact not loaded so that there was no actual danger.
Nonetheless, RobynC and others are right that this fight should be taken to a different thread. Start a new OT thread if you feel like discussing this further, and fewer people will get annoyed.
ya picking on me now
. telling me to pick up a gun is not going to solve the problem... gotta change the govenrment. dude, i never mentioned that i didn't appreciate what the armed services are doing for this country and i should have. they have my support. however, do not think that my right to criticize is being upheld when cheyney, rumsfeld and their puppet boy bush send us off the beaten path looking for someone else.
sorry for the rant all. i will speak no more of this! here's my mug
Hey Karlooz,
That's some fancy forced air helmut ya got there. Just out of curiosity, have you ever thought about just removing your visor? I removed mine, and found that I scrape against the headliner a lot less without it, and it just doesn't get in the way as much. Just a thought.
TD
Yeah, let's stay on topic. The topic is how 'dead sexy' we all are (thank you Austin Powers for expanding my vocabulary). Here's my pic. No trick photography was used. I really am that 'dead sexy'
Hey... maybe you guys can help me. I'm trying to fit in the urban environment, but when I shoot at people holding my Glock sideways like the boyz do it tends to jam... is there a hack for that?
Relax Greg, can't you see that there is no mag in the M-16, in addition no amunition is allowed while in flight.....
"Greg must not be a prior service kind of guy"

And here I thought Kirby was a guy. . . . And why does she have RobynC's name on her shirt. Que the cheesy sax music . . . I never thought it could happen to me, but . . .
Are the expletives necessary? Or is this the only way you find that your "point" seems to get across? It's offensive and quite unnecessary.
Oh, and by the way, perhaps you should lay the responsibilty upon the parents of these "kids"...instead of us Rennlisters?
ya i may take it off but the forced air would be useless without it. i don't have the forced air setup yet, hasn't been that hot these days but this will soon change.
i actually put the visor down when i drive with an instructor. there have been some pretty close calls and with the potential of dirt flying around i put it down.
the helmet (pyrotect) isn't really that fancy and it was relatively cheap ~300. funny thing, on the side of the box the helmet came in, there was a sticker that said "distributed by bell helmets". does that mean made by bell?
hmmmmm "that woman" . . . . where have I heard that before
Hot car, hot woman (meaning the real RobynC), life is good for you
The only thing missing is a firearm
You know, it's kinda fun poking fun at ones self for a change...although, I do find it highly enjoyable poking fun at Kirby, too. I just might enjoy that a bit more! haha
Me and my wife...
Oh yeah, don't get her started on gun safety. Her dad was invited to the olympic shooting team and she's a sharp shooter.
Maybe I should post that pic of her we thought about submitting to G Gordon Liddy's "Stacked and Packed"?
I'm gald this thread is going in a more peaceful erection...oops I meant direction.
No need to start a new thread...just check this one out...
