Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The wife is on me to lose this thing. It's taking up serious space in the garage. So here's the deal. I am already taking a huge hit on it, so what the hell...let's lose more money. $700 + shipping (about $85 FedEx ground) or best offer. As I have said before. It's brand spankin new. Never installed, not even a scratch on it. PM or email me Chad

POST 2Original post

It's a bolt-in process? Does it need anything else? I will PM you Thanks

POST 3Original post

Chad have you tried to sell it on www.6speedonline.com ?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 7Original post

Who bought it? Good Luck with the install..... Give yourself at least 4 hours and get a friend to assist you..... If you have questions, I'll more than happy to answer them..... Yes, your seats need to be removed. -Eli

POST 8Original post

I got away with only removing the passenger seat, didn't touch the driver's side. Just tilted the back and slid it all the way up.

POST 10Original post

'99 C2. the 964 is getting an engine transplant so the 996 is serving double duty. Just put the bar in last night. - Took out the passenger seat - Took out both rear side panels (where the speakers are). - With my wife's help slowly positioned the bar inside the car. - Attaching it was a bit of a head ache. Ended up stripping rear right bolt...
