Some even suggested that I had a wheel bearing problem and if it weren't for the fact that it changed on different surfaces I would have believed that to be the case.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for all the reply's last week regarding noisy tires. I had Sumitomo HRZ 3 and they were terribly noisy. Some even suggested that I had a wheel bearing problem and if it weren't for the fact that it changed on different surfaces I would have believed that to be the case. Others suggested that older tires could get hard and they were 24 months old with about 8K miles. Bottom line is that I got a new set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports and the difference is astounding. It give you an idea of the difference, I listen to talk radio and my volume level has been more than cut in half for a comfortable listening level.

The Hankook V12 Evo is an extremely impressive, and amazingly quiet tire. And they stay quiet even after they wear, providing the alignment it correct. The grip and steering response is on par with tires twice their price. Lots of high end sport car owners that I recommend them to scoff at the Hankook name until I install them. Then they are humbled. Check out Tire Racks reviews. Rick
