Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello, Trying to add BT to my '02 CR-220. It originally came with a CD changer. At some point well before my ownership the changer was removed and "replaced" with an iphone 4ish (!) plug for the aux. As you can see from the pics, there is a harness (apologies if this is an incorrect term) into which everything plugs in, which in turn connects to the back of the head unit. As you can see from the pics, I unplugged two of the three "old" plugs (not the yellow plug) and replaced them with the BT plugs. Result: Radio works fine, phone immediately connects to BT, but no sound. Is it possible that the culprit is I need to connect the brown and white wires that connected to the old iphone cable need to be added to the new BT adapter? TIA - I know *just* enough to be dangerous and mess stuff up :-). circled plug is the "old" one, new BT green/blue plug connected to red harness circled are brown/white wires from old iphone plug EDIT: Perhaps I should just get a different adapter/harness, such as this one?

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
