Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The best part of the trip was that on the way up, I was on interstate 91 at about 4 pm and I was probably one of three or four cars on the road, so I pushed it a bit on the dry roads with the beautiful setting sun and mountain filled backdrop.
Leading evidence: 'Fill backdrop' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Fill backdrop' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Gotta agree with you all - the C4S with snow tires is (to use a phrase from the old country) The Dog's Bollocks!
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

After three snowstorms in one week I can comment with authority: this car is unbeatable in the snow! My '04 C4S Cab (with hardtop) is a blast to drive with Blizzak snow tires. I would go as far as to say that it handles the white stuff better than my 4x4 SUV, as long as the lip on my spoiler stays above the snow level.
I will post some pics later, but two weeks ago, I drove up to northern Vermont for the long weekend. Normally, I would rent an SUV, but it was last minute, so no SUV's. Anyway, the snow came early Monday morning and I was a little worried. Now all I have to say is, worried, about what? The car handled amazing, passing SUV's with their hazard lights blinking. I wasn't trying to break any records, but it was still pretty impressive.
The best part of the trip was that on the way up, I was on interstate 91 at about 4 pm and I was probably one of three or four cars on the road, so I pushed it a bit on the dry roads with the beautiful setting sun and mountain filled backdrop. Then, on the way back, the snow was no problem.
Man, I love this car!
I have dedicated 17 inch winter wheels and Michelins for winter tires.
I've driven 4x4 SUVs in snow and I agree with you. My C4S (with Blizzak snow tires) is clearly better than any SUV I've ever driven in say 6" or less of snow.
It's all about the traction control. PSM is great turn it off and awd doesn't help much.
My C4S is better then my old Toyota 4 Runner and better then my old Land Rover Discovery but doesn't come close to my Range Rover. Though I can still turn off traction control on the RR and do donuts.
I am sure the Cayeene has the same PSM and is also great in the snow.
Gotta agree with you all - the C4S with snow tires is (to use a phrase from the old country) The Dog's Bollocks!
Last Thursday I had to make a meeting in the evening. Saw a truck spin out on rt. 4, hit the concrete barrier (directly in front of me but on the other side - thanks God for the barrier!) and bounce around like a ping-pong ball and two other cars had collected each other further down.
The most fun was passing a new Merc 500 that was just spinning his wheels and dragging against the sidewalk trying to go up a small hill. We just cruised by as though the snow didn't even exist
In fact the biggest problem I have encountered to date is keeping the speed reasonable - it almost makes you feel like the laws of physics have been suspended
