Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I don't know a lot about racing, but the sentiment that rear-engined layout loses out to mid-engine is not that rarely heard, in ALMS/ Euro Le Mans racing articles in Excellence and elsewhere, especially as Ferraris tend to run faster but Porsche cars win because they are more durable.
Leading evidence: 'Run faster' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run faster' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've been driving my little race car every day this week in anticipation of the 24 hour classic.
Joerg Bergmeister earlier today put the Lizard #80 on pole in GT2 ahead of about 10 F430s and several other RSR's -- nice!
Also RS Spyder is on pole in P2.
Isn't it nice that in spite of the financial challenges that the Porsche engineering still shines through....
Anyone else planning on watching the start early Saturday morning?
Plan to DVR the event and watch it at my convenience. You know what is really funny, in this month's Excellence, a subscriber writes that Porsche is pretty much out of touch since they continue to make the 911 as a rear platform. His main point is that rear engined cars can't handle nearly as well as the other types of platforms. This fellow, considers himself to be a "motorhead' (August 09 page 10), and thus expounds on all the negatives that a rear engine 911 has. I read this article and thought to myself, what rock has he been living under? Does he even realize that the venerable 911 has been racing the past 40+ years and winning up to the present day? I guess he should probably tune into the LeMans to get a refresher course on the 911.

There is also talk (not my words, but just recalling....) that Cayman may be a more suitable model for racing, but that of course would upset the Porsche "Centre" showroom pecking order.
Well I missed the night coverage but guess there were a bunch of incidents including Darren Law going off course and wrecking the Flying Lizard car in the darkness, ugh.
Audi's streak of consecutive Le Man victories comes to an end, but Peugeot deserved some glory for 3 years of effort, and there still independent so that's cool.
Being kind of old school myself, I loved the look of the Aston Martin P1 cars, V12 gas baby.
There's nothing like watching the cars go down the Mulsanne straight, and that carousel is still so cool, huh?
