Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Need some advice/opinions on this prospective private party '02 cab for sale. It is a lightly optioned lapis blue cab with grey top/interior, 16000 miles, technic package, heated seats, 6 speed and standard 17" rims for $63k. That's it. What I like is the color combo, technic package and heated seats, but seems a little steep without any other options, namely the 18" 2002 Carrera rims which are a must for me. In short, this car has all the "must have" options I would want except for the rims. I've been under the impression that this color combo with these options and 18" rims should go for around $60-62k or will be before the end of the year. What do you think? Thanks in advance.
The price seems average for an 02 but you may find a similar car with less miles. I had great success finding a variety of cars on autotrader.com .You may find others there to cmpare pricing. Remember asking price and selling price can be much different. Good luck!
Is it a C2 or a C4. If it's a C2, does it have PSM?
That's not a bad price. If the car is in good shape and it has everything that you want (except 18" wheels), I would probably make a counter offer and go for it. But remember to have a PPI done. You can always add the wheels later.
As a point of reference, last December I paid $65K for a C4 cab: 27K miles, original sticker of $105K, pretty much loaded, same color combo.
CLL ACAB, It is a C2 and I just found out it does have PSM. The problem is he won't accept anything below $63K. The 18" Carrera wheels that I like very much with tires will cost me $2600 with trade in of the 17" rims. That's putting me in the $66K range and I'll have to do all the running around. I've been patient for more than a year, so a few more weeks or months won't kill me. I wish the seller was willing to negotiate a little...

Just a tip; when looking at a '02 or '01 remember the warranty starts with the "In Service" date...i.e. a early '02 could have just a year of warranty left by now.....an '01 could be out of warranty

If this helps, I bought a Rainforest Green on Beige C4 Cab with Advanced Technique package, 18 inch wheels, Light wood, Alumuminum Package, etc, 24000 miles and 300 miles on a brand new engine for 66,000 in California. Its new list price was 99,660. I think I got a good deal. At the time I was not too objective, since I had been looking for that color for about 9 months. So I would think that price is not unreasonable. What do you think of the price I paid?
Oops...Sorry...It was and 2002. And put into service in April of that year. I am thrilled with it. It is the first time in a while that I wished that I had a longer trip into work. Kevin
I paid $68.5 this past Feb and the car had 4k miles, note my options in my signature. I think the car you described would be a good deal at $59,900 considering the light options, fairly high miles and 17's.
