Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

How Much For A '99 Speed-Yellow Cab with 26k Miles? I could really use some help and some advice! '99 996 Cabriolet, speed yellow, painted back seats, new tires, 26kmiles, two tops, and 17 options? 2 owner, fully documented, no RMS, etc. But, no traction control, either. Car is priced somewhere between 42k-43k. I know you can find them for less, off lease, auctioned, etc. Just wondered if you thought this was too steep...or a fair price? All Advice Is So Very Appreciated! Sincerely, Porschesmitten

POST 2Original post

That sounds like a pretty decent deal to me. If you like the car then go for it and don't look back. I would look into getting an aftermarket extended warranty though.

POST 3Original post

Seems a good price if car is in excellent condition. I paid 47 for a 99 C2 cab 3 months ago, 25k mi, full leather, 18's, hardtop, Porsche Certified. The 2 yr unlim mile warranty was an extra $1550. So, if buying from a private party, this price is good.

POST 4Original post

I just picked up a 99' C2 cab with 8900 miles for 49k from a Porsche Dealer. It has 18's, supple leather, traction control, chrome tips, hard top and porsche certified for 2 years / 100k. I had them add heated seats, porsche factory shift kit, porsche factory cup holders, 4 new tires and complete 30k mile tune up (because of age). I thought I did OK from a dealer considering the POMG. She is in excellent condition Guards Red with Black Top over Tan Interior. Seems like a pretty good deal that you are talking about but it really depends on what it will need for service because I hear the 30k maintenance can be quite costly and lastly is a warranty important to you?
