Has anyone use Braille or other brands? I'm about to get one but seeking a little advice or impressions of the various brands.
For those looking in the Dallas area, I have 1 month old insterstate battery that I'd let go cheap................. What does an Insterstate battery cost? I'll sell for half. The dealer put it in before knowing my plans on the lightweight.

It'll save you about 44lbs. You definitely want to keep your stock battery though, they don't work as well when it's super cold.
Thanks, that's the other brand I was checking into and it's cheaper. Do I need the box? I keep thinking about seats but still have not pulled the trigger. I like the roadster2's.
Yeah you need the box for the battery to keep it from sliding around. It's pretty sweet, really inexpensive and easy to put back to stock if you want to sell. Also that lowers the center of gravity since the weight is so high up.
The roadsters are cool but the GT3 seats are better imho. I guess if you're looking for something light for a daily driver they work well. They are pretty easy to get in and out of for a race type seat and supportive enough during hard cornering. Since I don't have a rollbar they work good for my purposes. Maybe see if you can find a dealer in Dallas that you can go check em out first. Speedware motorsports sells the brackets and sliders. Just remember that if you do change the seats yourself make sure you unplug the battery after you unbolt them and BEFORE you unplug the seat belt sensor. Otherwise you'll have an airbag light and there is no way to get it off without taking it to the dealer.
I was playing Project Gotham Racing on xbox 360 and noticed the Roadster 2s in the Noble M400. Actually the Noble M400 uses these seats from the factory. They might work better than I thought for racing. They look pretty cool with the harnesses too. I gotta set that up.
I use one in my race car. Just went to Batteries Plus and bought a wheelchair battery that came with the auto terminals. But, as said above, doesn't hold a lot of juice. Probably no A/C or radio at start up and a hot 996 might be too much for it?
