Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have the debate in my head over keeping it standard vs using the newer looking awesome part!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I put a 997 3.6 air box in my 2004 c2 .
I decided to reuse the 996 snorkel because it clears the air pump and mated well with the lid aperture , I have the 997 snorkel . I may or may not try it .
Unbolt the old one , take it out . Bolt the new one it , the mounts are identical. You reuse the same maf sensor . The 997 intake hose fits right on .
If you use the 997 snorkel you have to rotate the air pump by ten degrees .
If you use the 996 snorkel you don't , the two mount into the airbix body identically . , I liked the way the 996 snorkle fit into the deck lid so I reused it .
But I might get a ducktail down the line and I think the 997 snorkle might work better with one of those fibreglass tails.
That's bad ***! I've always liked the way the 997 air box looked in comparison to ours. Ours is just so "business." The 997 is atleast business with a little style. Great job!
Very Nice mod!! Now try putting the 997 frunk in? That would be another great project.
I bought the 987 boxster floor mats because they were cheaper and it was a perfect fit. Dimensionally these two generations are pretty much the same.
Vacuum actuated, as the revs went up the valve closed to give more noise and POWER!
Of course im joking about the power...
You can mod a 3.8 997 to permanently close the flap regardless of rpm too.
I have the debate in my head over keeping it standard vs using the newer looking awesome part!
Standard won, but seeing this makes me reconsider as I could always just swap it back
