Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 1 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi there Over 6 months after the install of the Spec stg 1 clucth bought from lindsey racind, my 996 is sliping again What could it be? The dealer ship that did the job is one of the best, and now is saying that he is not responsible for after market clucthes. I really do not believe this kind of issue is normal with so litle carefull usage. I am not a 0-60 kind of guy. Please advise. Best Regards ANGRY WOT FREAK

POST 4Original post

Check whether the dealer performed the TSB for the clutch release lever and ball journal. If they replaced the clutch and did not install the new parts, they owe you it free of labor. The old lever design is bad and not only can cause noise as Porsche claims, but can bind for a few seconds when releasing the clutch, causing slippage, especially on quick shifts. POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What does TSB means ? Does this new lever comes when you buy the a clutch? Do you think I will have to buy another one? Thanks WOT
