Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Let me know what you guys think. Total cost was $540.00 to paint the 4 wheels and center caps, machine the lips of the wheels, paint a new Carrera badge and license frame for the rear in the Seal Grey from the wheels. I took them four wheels with tires mounted on Tuesday morning and picked up the finished wheels with the tires re-mounted and balanced Thursday afternoon. Overall, I think they came out great and it was $540 well spent.
I think they look great and VERY unique. Definately money well spent.
If you want my opinion, spend the $35 for the clear side markers and it will look even better.
I'm thinking of doing this to my winter wheels, which are the same as on your car. My car is seal grey so I'd think it would look cool.
I wonder who does that work on the east coast?
One of the first things I said
however it's actually growing on me - he likes it think it looks better, and I have to agree it adds a little visual interest - an early 996 with gorgeous blue paint - the amber, IMO, and the owner's Opinion as well, sort of works. Someone photoshop the clear headlights in you'll see what I mean
i regretted not doing clear corners on my 01 audi s4 the first year i had it and have been paying attention ever since. did my x5 a few months after getting it and wished id done it even sooner. same with the cab. i have pre-clear pics and i dont want anyone to see them at this point.
I think it depends on the exterior color of your car. I agree that on certain colors the clear is a must. I had a Artic Silver Boxster several years ago, and that definately benefited from clear headlight, taillight and side markers. However, I kind of like the amber on the Zenith Blue. Oh well, to each his own.
Any photoshop experts want to make my wheels look like the ones in this thread, but black painted rather than grey.?
The car has a bit of a grey/black theme going, so i think this would be a great combo.
Thanks
