It is very easy to use fast on fast off, only downfall is it doesnt last that long. However as i said its so easy to use it doesnt really matter.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

26 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am pretty impressed with the results here. SOme kind of pink stuff that they were giving demos of at the show. Not bad results really.

POST 2Original post

Man that's increditable. What is it called and is it actually a wax protectant?

POST 3Original post

was it Griots Garage? their polish is a similar color

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'll go check later. I have some work to do and cannot go down to the garage at the moment. It is a polish and carnabua wasx as well. It is very easy to use. Wipe it on and wipe it right off before it sets up. It only took about 45 minutes, and I was impressed that it left hardly any of that petroleum film after wiping it off.

POST 6Original post

looks very nice in the pics...there are several pink products on the market. let us know the name when you get a chance. TIA.

POST 7Original post

Blk on Blk - I own a black one too and am in a constant pursuit of effective, but easy to use products for black. Your car looks great. You can't post pictures like that and not tell us what it is. Come on, share man!!! Thanks.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is called Liquid Lustre. I bought it from one of those displays today at the Houston car show. I was a bit skeptical really, but I watched the demo a few times and it presented some magnificant results. Of course these things always do when at the demos, but it seems to work very well in a live trial situation. An application should last 6 months. We'll see how it works long term, but intial reation is it is pretty danged impressive.

POST 9Original post

Wow - looks very much like you have a "black chrome mirror" car. Very impressive. Wonder how long time that lasts in rain and the usual dirt that comes from driving

POST 10Original post

Do you have any infromation on how to order this stuff? How about a web site?

POST 11Original post

Is this it? Looks like it needs to be ordered online. http://www.liquidlustre.com/

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep. That's it. They were selling it 2 bottles for $21 at the car show. I think it is a bit more on line.

POST 14Original post

I seem to recall using that stuff many years ago - like over twenty.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

their website says that they have been making this product in some form or another since the 1920's. I guess they adapt it as technology moves ahead. Seems like whatever formula they have now works pretty darn well.

POST 16Original post

blk on blk - thanks for sharing - what was the condition of your paint and clearcoat before you applied? Did this clear up minor blemishes and/or swirl marks if you had them?

POST 17 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Well the car is new from old stock so the paint was pretty much perfect when I got the car last month. I did have a few swirl marks already from washing. Nothing that noticeable. This did indeed help remove the swirls marks. I cannot see any right now. We'll see if they return when I wash it again. But I would say that it is effective in covering/removing swirl marks and minor surface scratches.

POST 18Original post

I have used this before as well. Good product but I still prefer Zaino. Easier to apply and lasts longer. Adam

POST 19Original post

alevine - which Zaino product(s) do you prefer?

POST 20 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was in fact looking for Zaino bros at this car show when I saw this booth and demo. I have heard others who have been very happy with the Zaino polish, and will probably try that next time. This was right there and I didn't have to wait on shipping not to mention it was 2 bottles for the price of 1. We'll see how it works over time, but I will probably try Zaino next time.

POST 21Original post

I use Z1, Z2 Pro, Z5, and Z6. Attached is the link. http://www.zainostore.com I have no affiliation. Just a very happy customer. I have used it for about 10 years too! I have also tried everything else and still come back to Zaino. Adam

POST 22Original post

Visited there site and it looks like they try to sell all kinds of stuff. I couldn't figure out what the simple polish or wax was if I wanted to buy. At least I know what size zeno t-shirt to buy. Which one is the BEST Z1 - Z6? or do you buy them all for about $70 bucks..

POST 23Original post

Liquid Luster is OK stuff but from what I am told.....old technology. It can't remove marring, halo-scratches or swirls, especially when applied by hand, because it doesn't have the correct abrasives in it. So instead of removing scratches it temporarily fills them in. It might last a couple of weeks or until the oils evaporate or they get washed out. If you want easy then you all need to get some Optimum spray wax and give it a try. You can get it from Autogeek or Top of the Line. You can wax your Porsche in under 10 minutes. By the way, Blk on Blk.....nice looking Porsche Anthony

POST 24Original post

That product has been around for years, for you canadians it can still be found at some Canadian Tire Stores. It is very easy to use fast on fast off, only downfall is it doesnt last that long. However as i said its so easy to use it doesnt really matter. Its a pretty good product
