Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone know of any quality service shops for Porsches in the DC/Northern VA area? Even tuner type shops? Any recommendations appriciated.

POST 2Original post

I have used Auto Sportsystems Group (ASG) in Fairfax for the past 10 years. They did all of the work on my previous air cooled 911 and for the past 4+ years have done all of the work on my 996. There are a lot of very good shops around here to choose from who support the local PCA events.

POST 3Original post

POST 4Original post

POST 5Original post

I take mine to Intersport in Tysons. It is about 2 blocks up from Porsche of Tysons (HBL) in the same strip as eCitie's (if you're facing eCitie's Intersport is on the left side.) Intersport 1524 Spring Hill Rd., Unit H,S Tysons Corner, VA 22102 [phone removed] http://www.intersportautosales.com Ivan from IMA is a cool guy and I have heard good things about ASG. The only reason I take my car to Intersport is because it is about a mile from my place.

POST 6Original post

I have had good luck with Curry's in Sterling; however, there is a new shop, Funktion Auto, out near Dulles Airport. I have not used them yet but I have talked to the owner and one of the Porsche mechanics is from Curry's and did great work on my cars. This is a full service shop, repairs, tuning, sales, racing set up, storage, etc... check out their web site; however, again I have not had the chance to use them yet so my recomendation can only go so far.
