Suggestion · Original poster

I am going to try the DIY motor mounts that Alpine and laz74 did .Rather than experiment on my current ones would like to use another set just in case I screw it up .Poor condition is fine as long as threads aren't stripped .

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I am going to try the DIY motor mounts that Alpine and laz74 did .Rather than experiment on my current ones would like to use another set just in case I screw it up .Poor condition is fine as long as threads aren't stripped . Thanks Dave

POST 2Original post

Dave, I have a set of 996 motor mounts, if you are interested. They were on my car until about 37,000 miles and are in finme shape. How about $50.00 and you pay paypal fees + shipping? Let me know. R\ Scott

POST 4Original post

I would have given you my sagging mounts - threw them away when I changed them last month!

POST 5Original post

I just replaced my old mounts with new RSS semi-solids.....old ones are in the basement if you still want them for your experiment.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

9 Lives thank you for the offer but already have a second set . How do you like the semi solids ?

POST 7Original post

Love 'em ! Not near as much vibration as I was expecting....feels much more connected and shifts seem smoother. Would highly recommend to anyone replacing theirs. Offer still stands for anyone who wants them...I had read of a few people who were experimenting with different epoxies and creating their own mounts.

POST 9Original post

if anybody wants to buy mine PM me...... 03 coupe
