Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

2002 996 Carrera; Stock Arctic Silver/Black leather; six-speed manual, turbo-twist rims. My wife backed my 996 into a railing in our driveway this weekend Anybody have tips or pics on how to remove the rear bumber cover and replace with a new one? Sure it's and easy weekend project, right!

POST 2Original post

It's actually quite easy. The hardest part is removing the bumperettes because you have to put an allen wrench blindly up through the hole in the bottom. I apologize - I don't remember the size. Everything else is pretty straight forward - you can see the screws that you need to remove in the rear fender wells and underneath the bumper cover.
