Anyone can guide me to buying the correct tool bit for this caliper bolt below? It is different than the original caliper bolt. Where can you get the best quality bit?

It is a Torx fitting. I can't tell what size from the photo. If you look at the bolts that attach your seat rails (996) to the floorpan, they are this type, size "E12". I bought a set of these when I installed Recaro seats in my GT3. Mine are S & K, but Craftsman, Snap-On and others make these sockets. CORRECTION: It is a Torx fitting, but of the female variety, hence a "Txx" size. Should be readily available from Sears, Snap-On, etc.

looks like a different bolt than my caliper bolt. On my 03 C4s, it's an allen socket bolt. Not a Torx. Either way, clean the bolt and the thread it goes into very well before screwing it in AND make sure it doesn't crossthread!

My current caliper bolt is an allen socket bolt and got these as the new ones. Thought I give a heads up to others when they are doing their DIY in the future.
