Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

19 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

A little late, but I ended up picking up my new (to me) CPOed 6-speed 2004 Guards Red C4S Cab with the X51 Power Kit from Barrier Motors with the following options a couple of weeks ago: G1 Guards Red V9 Black Top AH Black Full Leather X51 Carrera Power Kit M6A Black Mats - Porsche lettering Z0997 Custom Tailoring 513 Lumbar Support-Right Seat 586 Lumbar Support-Left Seat P82 Technic Package - 342 Heated Front Seats - 446 Wheel Caps with Colored Crest - 680 Bose High End Sound Package - P74 Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package XCA Trim Strip Alu. Look XCB Instrument Panel Alu. Look CCS Switch Trim Cent Air Mt.Alu LK I haven't had much time to drive it, but the little seat time I've had, I've ended up grinning from ear to ear!!! Let the mods begin!!! I've already put on winter tires (Blizzaks LM-60's) on stock 18's, had Benchmark install the Kenwood 9140, ordered the B&M SS Kit from the Bumperplugs Group Buy and have a variety of miscellaneous minor mods coming up!!! I need to now look at a set of summer wheels and then maybe follow up with an exhaust and suspension. BTW, special thanks to Ed who helped me with the purchase! I couldn't have done this without him!!! Ed - I still owe you some food and drink and will have to meet the next time I'm in Seattle! And here are some pics - not the greatest quality as it's been raining since I got the car - I don't think there's been a sunny day for the last three weeks in Victoria!!!

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Speakers are stock Bose speakers; amp is aftermarket.

POST 9Original post

That's not the car I told you to buy Just kidding! Sure looks good, even better in person.....enjoy!

POST 11Original post

Beautiful car! Looks like a Kenwood radio. My condolences.

POST 12Original post

Nice looking Cab! Contrats! BTW, that is the first time I have seen a Porsche wearing a thong!

POST 15Original post

Sweet ride. Are you going to change out the wheels?

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks a lot for your comments - Over the last couple of days, I've been able to drive it around a fair bit and I am truly impressed. It is a pretty tight car for something that's five years old. I only wish it came with a SS kit direct from the factory. Marv - yes, I am not impressed with the Kenwood either. I've heard equally bad things about the Pioneer so it was a tough choice. Why do these companies release crappy unfinished products? gota911 - I love anything that wears a thong! Doug996InKC - using my current wheels with winter tires now. I'll look at my options for a summer set soon.

Yeah, talk about sex on wheels, holy cow, ha. You might also like to add some aluminum bezel rings on the instruments, that would really balance and add to the interior.

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, the interior is pretty bland - may look to add the aluminium bezel ring as well as some aluminium trim around the shift boot to lighten things up. Anyone know a good place to order these from?
