Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just got back from a little vacation to Washington and a short jaunt up to Canada. Driving a Nissan Maxima and a Chevy 4x4 truck (for the few times I drove) made me anticipate all the more coming home and getting into my Pcar, wanting to feel that Pcar-driving-feel. I've never had car that made me jones like that before. I'm either weird, or very much not alone.

POST 2Original post

No you're just weird. Go to Palomar to take care of the issue.

POST 3Original post

On vacation right now and can't wait to get back to the P-car. Tried to convince my wife to take 2 cars on this trip, but it didn't fly.

Lol! Yes indeed, I DO need to get out to Palomar! During the week though, so there aren't as many of those gosh derned moto-ceeklers all 'round. Although I used to be one, now that I sold my bike, I'm allowed to be frustrated by their presents once again. Haa!

POST 5Original post

It's always great to drive it after giving 'er a few days off..... Since you're on the left coast -- Recommended vacation: drive it up to Laguna Seca on one of the race weekends. Lots of side trip possibilities or drop the wife off in Monterey for shopping.... I could not believe the cars I saw cruising around there during the Historics, it was like a movie....

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'd love to do that. And one of these times, I'll make it happen.

++1, nope not alone at all... I travel on business a few days a week, a couple of weeks a month... and boy, does that assortment of rental cars really make you homesick for your car... Rudy
