Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
The way the C4 is set up, R/awd system using a VC, Viscous Coupling, there is NO possibility for the front wheel to spin free without at least one rear wheel also driven/spinning.

Use vc, viscous coupling, there is no possibility

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.
Rennlist: 1 discussions
0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.
0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Was making a U turn so I nosed in on someone's driveway which wasn't steep at all. Wheels were turned, but they lived on a hil. Was going uphill but wanted to head back down.
The car noses in so that both the tire on the right side front is on the entrance of a driveway, the left front tire lifted off the ground. Like 7" off the ground!! I guess the chassis is stiff, especially with coilovers
Needless to say, I was stuck. Car wouldn't back out, front tires spinning. ABS light came on, then the information screen said ABS Pump Failure, then PSM Off screen came up including the idiot light.
I tried to rock the car, but no go. I wasn't beached at all, but the tires weren't getting any grip due to the dry gravel at the entrance (curb).
I shut off the car, restarted and the lights reset and then just put the car into reverse and gunned it and it finally got enough traction after the wheels spinning.
AWD my ***. Needed a LSD with a lockable center diff like an F150.
next time try covering the brake pedal slightly with your left foot to add some resistance to that spinning wheel in the air. For the rear end slightly engaging the e-brake works as well.
The ABS pumpmotor is a small 12 volt fractional HP 12 motor and is quite subject to overheating if something like continuous use is required. Most marques have a timer limit to shut it off before any serious level of overheating is reached, usually enough useage is left to still provide ABS functionality.
The way the C4 is set up, R/awd system using a VC, Viscous Coupling, there is NO possibility for the front wheel to spin free without at least one rear wheel also driven/spinning. The transmission output drives the rear differential and front driveline/VC directly.
Under the same conditions your F150 might have been just as stuck, especially given its light "behind".
And by-the-by your C4 does have a rear LSD, a virtual one to be sure, but......
