Anyways for novice class my buddy took 1st place in boxster s, I took 3rd(2001 C4), but I'm pretty sure I could have taken 2nd and given my buddy a run for 1st but I had a brake issue on the 2nd run of the afternoon session.

So my next run, everytime I touched the brakes ABS would kick in, which threw everything off, 4th run psycholigically I didn't want to use the brakes so ending up using throttle to slow down then brake, which threw my timing off.

So anyways, my buddy and I did our first PCA autocross event at Fort Devens, MA.
Great bunch of P-car owners there, very accomodating and understanding of the newbies. Wonder if any of them are rennlisters?

So my next run, everytime I touched the brakes ABS would kick in, which threw everything off, 4th run psycholigically I didn't want to use the brakes so ending up using throttle to slow down then brake, which threw my timing off. - so my question is can an overfilled resovoir tank cause this ABS issue(maybe due to increased pressure in the sytem?) I would have removed some but didn't have any way to do it w/o contaminating the fluid.....I guess I could have tried to bleed some out....
Hope to fix this problem for next months Auto-x so I can get the 1st place beer glass.

Did 2 AutoX...then 1 DE....then new wheels and track tires, ECU next....next year, contemplating 944 Track Car then on to NASA, Chin, PCA and maybe SCCA. :-)
Brake flush I believe was done ~ 6k miles ago.
The level as so high that there was almost no bubble in the resevoir tank......
I'll be doing a brake flush before the next Auto-x that's for sure.
Do you know what fluid was used? Regardless, make sure this next time they use a high temp performance fluid like Endless (porsche cup fill) or Castrol SRF. Expensive and worth every penny...
