Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Can you repair or massage out dents/creases on interior leather panels? I notice that you can very easily leave a mark in the leather if you bump an interior panel.

POST 2Original post

Enough people build race cars, you might be better off looking for a used replacement piece.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hmmm.. I guess i have a lot of interior panels to replace..

POST 4Original post

Can you post a pic? I'm trying to understand what you are talking about. The leather panels in my car have held up surprisingly well.

POST 5Original post

Try Leatherique Restoration Products, they have both maintanance and restoration stuff, the website is full of info!

POST 6Original post

You'd be surprised at how well some bad looking panels come out after a nice treatment with Lexol or other leather conditioner. Unless the leather is torn, give it a try. PS--You should be conditioning your interior leather twice a year at least!

POST 7Original post

You might also try Leather CPR. I have had some great results with it bringing back leather finishes where other products didn't work.

POST 10Original post

That's just an indentation in the leather. That happens if you poke it with your finger nail. Not sure if you can get that out, but I still think some conditioner might help. Great interior color, BTW!

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I've got a few of those indentations in the rear seat side panels from my golf clubs/kids.
