I was guessing that Ed had re-used the actual cardboard box I sent him a while back.

You do know (if it's after market carbs if your car is using the porsche intake that isn't fuel injection) that the Porsche system is better in adjustments and you are asking for trouble just fiddling around if it's webers?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

LMAO Pete - how did you guess!
- I am not telling - the new owner will tell when the time is right, I am sure,
The avatar is my car on the freeway heading towards and underpass
European front plastic instead of the junkie drinking tainted river water look of american bumper?
Oversized cylinders with heads with acompanying gasket kit?
You bought that car since there's a GT wing that fits it?
Oh yah turbo's with exhaust kit?
Probably something to make it look or run more like a 996
Are you seeing anybody about the ebay addiction
Life time supply of floor mats and dingle berry's?
It's so obvious that it's a Porsche china and crystal set with matching crystal cup holders.
Then there's the chance it's a years supply of wash and wax towels and wax with the little box being clay for claying the car.
So when are you putting the exhaust or intake on?

Looks like he bought the whole inventory. What a sucker
I believe once a few months back he mentioned he might go for more power later. Most normally try exhaust or intake with out channging internals. That's why I figure exhaust or intake.
Frisbee91 is the guy we ought to beat up on to get the info.
We are watching you now. There is no escape. Do not attempt to change the channel on your TV or adjust it.
Could be rims with center caps and lug nuts in the seperate little box.
https://rennlist.com/forums/for-sale...eels-sold.html
We are closing in on finding out. Could just be rocks in the box. Gotta watch out for those buys online. I'm going to call my junk mail contacts that got your bank account info and see if they can tell me what you've bought
How about a years supply of waterless car wash
Hint: Paid Cash.... bank (read wife) doesnt know...
worked on my baby today, lots of grease on my arms and hands.... making progress - Track season coming
Looks like you were right. He's getting all greasy crawling around installing the lines and extra radiators so he wont burn up at the track this year.
He's got to give some time. Maybe it's fancy rotors and calipers.
When are you going to give up Mr ivangene?
I know Scott - I know.... trust me I have not forgoten your very helpful efforts - in fact this is very much the a part of why this box is here - and one reason I machined so many Fan pulley tools and Caliper alignment tools and just gave them away on the air-cooled side..... I know I owe big time! - Also why I offer free IMS bearing inspection with detailed photos under magnification for anyone who wants.....(BTW I have done about 15 of those, 3 thru RL)
I have / and will not forget !
Actually, after Ed bought one of those vacuum bag systems that let's you shrink pillows & blankets for storage, he went to work on his garage.
In that box is the entire contents of his garage.
Of course, now he has more room....

Haha... I dunno, where there's a will there's a way. But the box look too small for a v10?
You know you really can tell when it' inter in the northern hemisphere...
What a tease. The cold weather must be causing a lack of any better excitement.
Desperate man takes to the internet with a picture of his box. Lucky you aren't a girl showing your box online. Let's see what cha got fella.
Have you finished installing the hatchback in your car so that you can put the box in there? There;s no way you'll fit that box in the car unless you do.
OK Ed and Pete, enough already...no more numbers, no more hints. You are both banned until one of you comes clean with the contents of that box(the cardboard one). Moderator....HELP us out and ban ED, that air-cooled guy with too many parts, that probably aren't for his Porsche anyway, and won't firt besides.
What ever it is it must be illegal. You probably wont install it anyway since you haven't started yet. Better put it in before the asteroid hits earth with ground zero directly in front of you headed your way.
Wow your year of car must be real big to have all that room in there with the engine still sitting in there.
I hope you are paying that Porsche tech good money. New game station with super large monitor with PC hook ups.
Hey is that an airplane propeller or boat propeller??
We done good Ed!
Will have to wait a little before I install. Will have to read up on the what to do with the wiring so I don't throw a lite. It was well worth the wait.
OH - and for all thoase wondering what I was doing

the original post on this thread said... "dont hate me, I'm excited for you"
key word YOU !! (not me... it was never about me, but somehow you guys stared thinking I was putting things on my car... pretty fun and thanks for all the posts - some of them made me laugh and I know Pete was laughing too....
you guys are alright!
Ed IS awesome! I contacted him when I saw the add and he jumped at the chance to help out a fellow RL'str...the best part was when he inspected the seats in person his mad negotiating skills kicked into high gear. I know because we were on the phone together and I was laughing my a$$ off.
Here's to the install going smooth.
Yes, that is indeed a very nice plant, though I'm not sure it warrants this much excitement. Maybe if the car seats next to the plant didn't take up so much of the frame, I might be able to better appreciate it.

Pete, seats should be a very noticeable upgrade for you, especially since you track your Porsche. Ed, as usual, full of surprises and generosity. Guess that happens when people are into their cars and enjoy sharing their story.
I really am looking forward to these. Harness bar is coming this week too.
This is just a great week.....My Packers won the big one, my seats get delivered....ain't nothin' bothering me. And Ed? He is a dude.
Kumba Ya everybody Kumba Ya..
Got a BK-1030 from a fellow member and should have it this week. The seats truly were a steal. Got them for alot less than asking price. Ed will tell you the story I'm sure.
WOW:
Nicely done! Couldn't tell from the pix the size of the box.....still.......a killer upgrade to your car....you will love them and enjoy them even more at the track! ENJOY!
Holy cow, you got them for less than asking.. their asking was a pretty good deal to begin with. Dang Ed, I'm gonna have to bring you next time for whatever I'm buying next!! Well done!!
Pete:
you'll see that making the swap-out is really pretty simple, just gotta make sure that you don't scratch anything with the stock seats on the way out....they are much heavier than I expected. The GT3 seats are light and simple to install.....it will also depend on how much electronics you want to mess with. I didn't remove the seat belt piece form my stcok seats so the airbag light is on (piece of black electrical tape fixes that until state inepection time)...don't worry, the aribags will still function properly...... putting the harnesses on was more frustrating than I tought it would be....either way....you'll be flying soon enough. Enjoy!
LOL @ pices of black tape - LAME!!!
(I had a black sticker
)
OK , the truth is it was a blue sticker covered with black ballpoint pen
(but was done by the PO - so there !)
Ed:
You got any more black and blue stickers........lol. Naw, I will just leave that for my hand when I take out the stock seat and I put the GT3 seats back in......Tell Pete again, how easy it is.......
