Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK, I've had my car for 2yrs...I've taken VERY good care of it. For people who've seen it in person you know how clean I keep it. I've Supercharged it and it runs great! There is nothing wrong with the car and it still has 2yrs of warranty left. It has 14,300 miles So...I'm thinking of getting another car...What car? I'm not sure...maybe a Turbo S Cab? I really don't know, but I do have the "itch" to get something. My questions, and it's only a question...I am not putting anything up for sale...I'm just asking because I value everyone's opinion...good and bad. What do you think a fair price for my car would be as is? 60k? 65k? 70k? I am just curious as to what people think...I am sure others are curious as to the value of their cars... In case someone doesn't know which car is mine... Thanks

POST 2Original post

If you restore it to stock, you can sell the extra parts for good money I think and the car will sell a lot faster. If not in a hurry, just sell it as is. As is, you should get ~$70k IMO.

POST 3Original post

WOW. You're thinking about selling, huh? Well, a Turbo S cab is not a bad step up! I've never met you, but I can contest to ALL the people that have contested about the pristine condition your car is in. From the pictures alone, it is one helluva machine. Great color combo and very tasteful mods. An 03 with 14k, I would say 65k is a fair price. I don't know though cause I haven't been keeping up with the market prices on 03s. I would part out some of your items though. Get your money back and it would be probably alot quicker sell. Unless an enthusiast like us picks it up... Then they would be picking up a fully modded carerra.. oh yeaaa

POST 4Original post

I think you would get the best price "as is" from people here or on 6Speed or the other forums you are on. They know you and your car and will appreciate it more. If you were to consign/trade it in, return it to stock. You have one of the sickest 996s ever. Price? Hmm.. not sure. Mid to high 60s? -Darren

POST 5Original post

I think the market is still a bit soft for 'special cars'... As always, your car looks great both in pictures - some 'recent' pics better than others And always looks great in person too. You just need that one right person.

POST 6Original post

As is 60k max, and it will take a year to do it, the only way to get your money out of mods is to return the car to rock stock and sell the parts sep. Mods reduce the value of a car much more than they enhance the value. A modded out track car is probably alot easier to sell as is than a modded 'street' car. That's just my perspective after about twenty plus yrs of buying, selling, racing. building all sorts of hot rods and race cars. Cool car, if you find the right enthusiest your golden. I think the hardest selling point of your car( and also it's biggest asset for some) will be the puffer, just spells trouble to your average joe blow p car buyer. Good luck.

Thanks everyone for your input.

POST 8Original post

Let me be the first to say that I would be willing to take some of those "parts" of you hands. Given the color match, it would be very nice!
