Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I'm finding conflicting information on the correct bolt and am hoping someone can confirm that 987 105 254 01 is correct for the gear/phaser to camshaft bolt? If not, I would greatly appreciate the correct part number... Many thanks!

Thank you - very useful!

POST 4Original post

987 105 254 01 was the part number I used when I re-timed my valvetrain last summer. Usually the last two numbers in the part number indicate the version number with the first nine digits being that specific part. So the 00 suffix would be the first iteration, 01 the next and so on.
