Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just painted & replaced my motor hood & spoiler. It looks good! What is the red lens on the spoiler? Brake light, parking light? Mine does not come on & I dont know about my old one. thanks!

POST 2Original post

It is the rear center brake light. Should come on with application of the brakes when spoiler is up.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That particular brake light does not come on and also the motor hood light does not come on. I just replaced the burned out bulb. i dont think this is related but the blower fan on the motor hood does not come on. The fan is operable if I put 12 volts to it so Im thinking the thermostat up front at the radiator has failed. I think I have to remove the front bumper to get to thet. ?

POST 4Original post

The engine compartment blower motor thermostat is located in a bung on the right side of the engine by the exhaust manifold.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, I assume that would be sitting in the car side?

POST 6Original post

The engine compartment fan rarely runs. The temperature sensor is located between the intake plenums on the passenger side. It resides in a rubber grommet between the intake runners.
