Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Wifey didn't need to help me change the wheel bearings on my car, she just needed to be supportive - but NOOOO that was asking too much.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I could not help but have my wife read this... She made me laugh when she stated, "He's got it... She should shut her trap and help him... Then he will give her the bare foot & pregnant with the big house"
I think that it is not only funny, but TRUE!!! How many guys wish that their wife would share their enjoyment of the car just a little?!?! Wifey didn't need to help me change the wheel bearings on my car, she just needed to be supportive - but NOOOO that was asking too much.
Yah, you'll give it to her to read for FUN, and she will get out the knife and slash your PCar tires to return the "joke." Either a woman gets the car thing or she doesn't. If she doesn't get the car thing, it is more than likely that she doesn't want her guy to have any hobbies. After all -- SHE is his hobby. She is what he is supposed to spend all his money on.
Doug - figure out which side of the fence your fiance is standing on. If she isn't into letting you have a Porsche, or thinks that it is just too much money to maintain it and she'd rather have a kitchen or a mink coat or a vacation or . . . . . you are screwed before you even start.
If you can't give it to your fiance for you both to laugh at, you will be fighting that hobgoblin for your entire marriage - TRUST me, I know.

Doh! Yep, just did... but not this thread, the original on the Jeep forum. Will see how she responds.
Which side of the fence... she's cool w/ me having the Porsche (if she wasn't, I wouldn't be w/ her!), but there's NO frickin way she'd get her fingernails dirty. And honestly, I like it that way. This is MY hobby, not hers.... although, fixing me a sandwich and bringing me a beer is cool.
