Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have booked my 996 C4S in for a dyno run after its next service in February and would like to know what results a healthy standard engine should give.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have booked my 996 C4S in for a dyno run after its next service in February and would like to know what results a healthy standard engine should give. Can anyone share dyno results at the wheel or flywheel with either 2WD or 4WD for a 996 3.6L engine. Many thanks B

POST 2Original post

Some folks have cried on Mustang dynos that said 240s. Others have jumped for joy with Dynojects showing 280+. Somewhere in between, maybe 260-ish is more likely. You should also be sure to get uncorrected and corrected values. Just so you know. [edited to reflect 3.6L, not 3.4L] -td

POST 3Original post

Maybe take a look at the tuners (TPC, VF). They have graphs comparing stock with their upgrade. FM

POST 4Original post

I can show you a 996 GT3 dyno chart, if you like...

My 996 results are on this board somewhere it's NA but not stock and it is a 3.4 though.

POST 6Original post

I have dyno sheets but most have ECU's, LWFW, exhaust systems, no cats, etc, etc
