Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
After lurking round here and learning quite a lot I finally found a 2004 C2 in excellent shape.
Altas Grey, extras included quick shift kit, stainless steel door sills and aluminum gauges. Well then towards the end of last year I became a P-car owner.
I thought it' about time I say hi and share a couple of obligatory photos.
Thanks for the comments guys,
68,000 Kms here down under or 40,000 miles in that other scale
Previous owner was an executive type used it as a DD. Clean PPI, full service records and CPO.
Interior pics? Sorry, none ATM but will rectify ASAP.
Robert
Robert, Welcome to Rennlist and Contrats on getting a nice looking C2! I KNOW it's nice looking because you posted pics!
Mods? Did someone mention mods??? Here is a "starter" list.
Aluminum Gauge rings
Aluminum Pedals
Paint your Brake Calipers
Paint the "top hats" while you are painting the calipers

Great car mate. I hope your roads are well cared for and good for driving.
The ACT was was a wonderful place when I was there for a year. I did get out a few times and it was always a wonderful place. Must be nice enjoying the porsche over there.
Take care.
Sorry for the late reply guys. Again thanks for the kind welcome.
Mods hey... I think I'd like to start off slowly and build up speed
I'd defiantly thinking garage door opener is a must and the aluminum pedals and gauge rings, jut not sure whether the gauge rings would look too much along with the dials.
Great eye for detail jmla. It was low, had a slow leak in that one.
Finally as promised some interior shots.
Hmm, thanks for the pics. I think i could be convinced
It looks like the first two pics are of a "brushed" finish and the last one "chrome"? I was fighting glare when i took the photos, and it is lying jut a bit. The dials are actually an aluminum finish not white, and with the bits of aluminum already in the car i think brushed gauge rings would be the way to go.
Actually, they don't seem to mind.
Wow - great looking car! Welcome to Rennlist... By the way, that's only Tim's first page - there's plenty more where those came from. Congratulation and enjoy!

Great looking 996. Not sure by your camera by have transposed the picture as the it really appears that the steering wheel's on the wrong side of the car!
BTW, I love the brushed aluminum rings around the white dials. It really sets them apart.
All pics show aluminum brushed rings. The last pic was taken at night with a flash.
My dials are also the aluminum finish, not white, and the interior color is Graphite Gray.
Hello Robert, Very nice color! It's unique and a cool color indeed. Welcome to Rennlist Porsche enthusiast! Check out my car too its a different kind of color combo. Posted under New Posts in the 996 section "My first green Porsche" Happy Modding
