Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The Porsche is 'used' on weekends - I've put around 500 miles on it this summer, odo reading 3005.

I think that you should change your name to casper (the little white ghost) goes nicely with your ricer!

He changes the oil at the same time he changes his sulfated battery, which is approximately every 2 years or 1,300 miles.

It saddens me to see you guys first rip Phil and now lead astray this poor newby about the first generation TPMS Warning Light, first called the Tire Warning, Initial Test light (or TWIT)

I've owned the car for over 2 years and yes, I'm still terrified to use my cruise control for fear that the dreaded 'green dash symbol' will illuminate and throw me into a complete tailspin - mainly because I forget how to turn it off!
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi All... Excuse my newb to 911 question but I'm not finding out what this light (that i've circle in the picture) means that came on tonight on my car.. green light (when lite up) on the speedometer gauge that has has an arrow pointing down on it... What is this light telling me ? I haven't found anything telling me what it means.
Thanks
Yep.. that's it... I guess my leg somehow hit the button and turned it on... I've never used the cruise so I didn't know what the light was and I've misplaced my manual so I was trying to find out online.. Thanks for the fyi guys !
Ask Phil G. He can tell you all about that light.
OK, because you are a Newbie we will cut you some slack about not knowing what that light was. However, we were not so kind to Phil when he asked the same question. However, he had owned his car for over a year when he asked the question. Here is a link to his thread. It is pretty funny reading.
Phil's "Dash Synbol" thread
"active"???? how??? did he start jogging??
Just kidding!! I think that you should change your name to casper (the little white ghost) goes nicely with your ricer! By the way..I still think you are giving your Honda not enough credit!!
Jogging??? Yeah, right!
I have named the POS "Snow White." All of the other names can't be repeated in mixed company. Like "F^%$#& Honda" and my personal favorite "@#$% *&^%$%^* Piece of ****!"
I've owned the car for over 2 years and yes, I'm still terrified to use my cruise control for fear that the dreaded 'green dash symbol' will illuminate and throw me into a complete tailspin - mainly because I forget how to turn it off! When it went on I thought it meant something had gone terribly wrong with my car. Like maybe a Porsche RMS leak warning light!!
You can see how often I've had my cruising at highway speed! And yeah, Tim (and Wayne) were RELENTLESS when I posted my thread. I will never live this one down.
The TT's a daily driver, so that one has all of 1200 miles on it. The Porsche is 'used' on weekends - I've put around 500 miles on it this summer, odo reading 3005. But the good news, that little green circle hasn't reappeared on my dash
I'll answer that one for Phil.
He changes the oil at the same time he changes his sulfated battery, which is approximately every 2 years or 1,300 miles. Sad, but true!

I'd be pissed at this comment, but Tim is just about right on the mark.
As we speak, my car is having sex with the battery maintainer. Anything for a charge....
Tim, you're on the board more than I am these days - so you don't give us a chance to miss you! BTW, I've tried and the cruise control doesn't work at 5MPH --- especially in reverse.
