With that in mind i broadened my search and I believe that mine are either a dealer installed mat or a LLoyd mat.

Suggestion
If you have a C2, the simplest way to replace worn front floor mats is order a set from a Boxster of the same era.

Suggestion
Just replaced mine last year by doing this as my rears were fine and ordering a 996 set didn't make sense.

The PO/original owner replaced the factory mats with Cocomats when he first bought the car so the original mats are pristine. I've never used them because they didn't work with my mission to break up the sea of gray.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all,
99 996, black floor mats with red Porsche script. When I see the replacements available all seem to have black script. Has anyone been able to find true factory replacements with the red script. Mine are not that bad, but the drivers is showing a little wear which is typical. Thanks in advance, not interested in coco mats or the like.
Thanks.
* EDIT, found them through a distributor.
With that in mind i broadened my search and I believe that mine are either a dealer installed mat or a LLoyd mat. This is what they look like.
It doesn't appear that you can order them with Porsche written on them anymore though.
Lightly used mats on eBay are ~$80.
On the subject of floor mats, my driver side original is well worn, and I drive with just my socks, so are there any recommendations for mats that provide some extra heel cushion over OEM?
its funny you should mention this as the carpeting under the floor mat has a vinyl protection patch where your heels would rest. Strange that the mats dont have something like this as well

I'm curious what it is about them that you hate? I had a Lloyd mat for the rear deck briefly and a full set of floors in a Cayenne and thought they were fine.
The only reason I changed it was because of the red lettering. There was no other red in the interior and I thought it looked weird. I ended up going full Cocomat.
