Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I have a 1999 C4 and live in FL. Last time it rained, water came dripping through the door where the side mirrors are...... The carpet got wet and so did the front speakers. Since I have a Cab, I dont think i have a front drain cog issue. I did some searching and someone mentions a "front waterproof membrane." Does anyone know what this is?

POST 2Original post

the seals on the rag top are probably worn. if you look at the plastic trim that runs along the side there are rubber-like seals that mate with the window to provide the water/air tightness. these seals will probably have to be replaced. happened on my prvious cabrio, but towards the rear side window.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i currently have the hardtop on so its not the rag top... how do i replace the plastic seals?
