It's a well built, great sounding system. Factory tips fit & the system fits the car without modification. The price is a great deal. They have the reg. & loud versions. I have the Reg. but I hear the loud is sweet sounding without resonance. If I had to do it over I might get the loud version, but I'm happy with what I have. They offered to switch systems if I wanted to, but to me it isn't worth the hassle.
Customer service just wanted me to clarify that shipping will be based on you location! Most in the cont. USA will be $50 or less depending on you location. Out of the country will be more of course. One last thing: these are being drop-shipped so there is no added discount for picking it up in our show-room. If you'd like we can still have it shipped here at your request.

Can you give more of a description of "regular" and "loud"? A hard decision just got harder (!)
Is regular quiet at low rpm cruising? (like if you want to use a cellphone?) Will it give a satisfying tone when you drive hard? Will loud always tick the neighbors off when you go to work at 6AM? Can you use a cellphone with either?
I have the regular and love it. A nice burble down low (RPMs), then a wonderful flat six sound as the revs increase. Absolutely NO interior resonance. I highly recommend it--especially at this price.
I have the regular version (with factory tips) in my cabriolet and love them. I have not appreciated any HP gains. I think they weigh a little less than the factory mufflers.
I have the regular version and they seem very quiet until you open a window and then you realize how really sweet they sound. At 5K rpm WOT when the cams roll over, the sound is..welll...
My wife thinks they are too loud, so I tiptoe down my street.
Eli: I have searched your sight and connot find anything that shows any increase in exhaust flow with the mufflers. Forget the sound....it there ANY increase (or decrease in resistance) to the flow of the exhaust? IF so, what is it?
This new set-up with dramatically increase the flow of your exhaust from its patented FREE-FLOW design�..
You�re also looking at an additional 4-8 HP gain which isn�t really a whole lot but for most I�m sure you�re really looking for the weight reduction and the throaty sound when you get on your accelerator!!!!

I love mine! All my Porsche friends like the sound and say it's the closest thing to a cup car that they have heard. It's almost stock quiet on the inside but it is a little loud on the outside. I love it. Especially in the morning.
I just saw a 996 Cab at my kid's school. When the lady drove by, I forgot how docile the stock exhaust sounds! The car was just way too quiet. Made me smile that I have the GHL's!
Now that I've placed my order, I'm psyched!
My car sounds like a sewing machine as is. Found an independent Porsche wrench to do it for around $100. Not even going to bother DIY for that.
Lee, that's so worth it not to have to do the install. I paid my local P-Car dealer $100 (1 hr labor) to install it (mine was PSE).
Post your feelings about it when you get it installed. BTW, did you ge the regular or loud ones?

Ok, I was considering the PSE but at these prices if it's still around I'd like to potentially get them if someone can give me a bit of color between the Regular version and the loud version.....any sound bits anywhere on the web ???
