Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am a proud member here - but I run RennTech.org.
Leading evidence: 'Run renntech.org' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check with justin lane at brandywine porsche' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

It's very interesting...I've "registered" here, and 6speedonline, and can't seem to use the forums regarding items wanted to buy......I paid for registration here, and registered free at 6speed.....what's the deal?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

A member did a DIY for PCM 2 in a MY03 Carrera over on RennTech.org. You can find it
here
.
If you are not registered you will need to register to see the DIY section (it's free).
If you are talking about RennTech.org then email your username and the email address you used to register. Or... if you are talking about Rennlist - Rennlist.com and RennTech.org are not the same site. I am a proud member here - but I run RennTech.org.

Check with Justin Lane at Brandywine Porsche. He sells a kit for a great price that includes everything you need for installation. I installed one in my '03 Targa. I used the TSB info along with the instructions on Renntech.org that are referenced in an earlier message.
I only have one minor issue with it. It doesn't have a high level of map detail in rural areas. I don't think there is any solution to this. Other than that, it is a very nice interface into the sound system and the car.
Good Luck!
I don't believe that any nav will have rural hi-level detail...All in all PCM is prety good, I've used mine all over the US, and I'am glad that I had it.
