Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Back in early January I posted a thread ( https://rennlist.com/forums/993-forum/178175-wanna-make-a-wheel-swap.html ) offering my Roocks in trade for some 18" factory twists in comparable condition. The offer we thought would work has fallen through, so the offer is still on the table. My wheels are their "Competition" model made in Germany (by Ronal), 2-piece polished cast aluminum 18x8.5 and 18x10 wheels and give an aggressive look and stance. Real wide offsets (rear wheels are stamped ET 50 and fronts ET 45) look great on my NB but may be better suited to mounting on a wide body, especially if your car is lowered. I haven't had a rub problem on my NB, but mine's not lowered. Originally cost approx. $2,500 for the set. I understand these also fit the 996 (and Roock says the Boxter) nicely. I've got a snapshot of these on a 996, for those interested. The pictured tires have been removed but have the Michelin Sport Pilot fronts (225/40/18) that have approx. 50% left available if you want. Make me an offer. These wheels are about 7,000 miles old and have no curb damage, dents, bends or scratches (other than 2 or 3 tiny nicks - the size of a pinhead). Superb condition in and out. I can send more pics for those interested. I'd like to trade them straight across for 18" factory "Turbo-look" (looking for painted 8"/ET52-ft, 993 362 136 01, 10"/ET65-rr, 993 362 140 04) in comparable condition. Or will sell them for what I can buy a set for on Ebay; something like $1200?. Give me a PM or call: office - 877/507-0554 (toll free) in Atlanta. If you email me you might not get through my spam screen, but you can try at [email removed] and be sure to put "PORSCHE WHEELS" (all caps) as the subject.
