This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

With Winter just about over in Minnesota I am trying to narrow down my choices for 19" wheels for my '99 996. I recently lowered using H&R srpings and my next project is wheels. I'm wondering if any has them on their 996 (narrow body) and could share their pictures? I'm leaning toward the Swifts, however, there are a couple of others that I like as well. One other item that has come up i n the forum is the issue of weight, however, I'm not that concerned with that since I'm not going to track the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Gerardo

Hello! Winter just about over in Minnesota? Is that a fact? Sorry, but it's still snowing here, and we get nowhere near the snowfall that you get in Minnesota, so I gotta figure *Wishful Thinking*. Which is OK seeing that I'm already dreaming of cruising the streets of Frankfurt am Main in one ofmy really loud Hawaiian shirts (with real cocoanut buttons) , top down, with Sinatra singing *Summer Wind* or B52's *Planet Z*... Hey, how low do you wanna get your ride?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It has been a relatively mild winter with snowfall less than normal which is great for me and not so good for those who love it. Quite frankly I can't stand it but tolerate it due to my wife and kids live here too and it's not easy to move the kids. "Wishful Thinking"? I don't follow that since I know it's still February and we could have snow up through April, however, that's not the trend and in any case I'm just waiting to get a bit closer to April to buy my wheels. How low the ride? It's dropped about an inch. So do you have IForged 19"s on your '03 911?

gonz, I've got 19s on an 01 Turbo. I don't remember the width tho. The fronts are wearing 245/40/19, rears are 315/25/19. Lowered on the techart's vario-suspenion coilovers. I get some rubbing in the back when under full compression, and the fronts rub when you go lock to lock (tight parking spaces, for example). not sure how to post pics tho....
