Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just wanted to get some opinions on the X73 suspension for my 2004 C4S. I'm aware of other suspension options (like the PSS9s), but wanted to hear what people thought about the X73 option. Also...does one typically change the swaybars at the same time, or do the stock swaybars on the C4S work with this setup? Thinking about track days ahead... Thanks!

POST 2Original post

There are a lot of comments on Gert's site about X74, assume its comparable to X73 (which I think you need for a C4S). See here: http://www.carnewal-europe.com/cpx_p96079t.htm . After a lot of research, I was going to put X74 on my 04 Targa (but traded it).

POST 3Original post

X73 on the 996TT here and am very happy with the setup.

POST 4Original post

I'm fixin' to do the x73 myself, followed by the x51!

POST 5Original post

Just installed the x73 on my TT after having the x74 on my 996 cab for over a year. Love it.

POST 6Original post

The nice thing about X73 is that it's tuned and ready to go from the factory, no adjustments needed. The PSS9 is a good setup but too much adjustability may or may not be a good thing on a street car.

POST 8Original post

x73 is for awd tt/c4s only, doesn't include sways.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are the stock swaybars sufficient for this application?

POST 11Original post

Upgraded my C4S to X73 ~ 3 wks ago...and have run one DE weekend subsequent. the performance gain is non trivial. actually it is so pronounced I am kicking myself for not doing it earlier. turn in, responsiveness, feedback, all majorly improved. in a nutshell the car is substantially more communicative.
