Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

I am looking at trading in my 2002 Carrera C2 Coupe for a 997. Does anyone have access to the Manheim auction reports for the value of my trade-in?

YOu've got PM based on the updated info on the car.

POST 5Original post

Most dealers in the new york area use the values in the Galves books. You can register at the website galves.com and look up your vehicle. Note, luxury cars are taking a bath in trade ins, so don't be too suprised. I have seen galves values used by Porsche dealers, BMW, mercedes, lexus, etc. It is the real value (minus damage)

POST 6Original post

I wouldn't trade it I'd sell it. That's just me though.

+1. Trading is easier, but the wallet will certainly take a hit.

You could be describing my car here, except mine has a little less mileage. I don't even want to know what you are offered on trade-in - I think it would depress me.

Based on the Manheim prices, it looks like the Mid 20's

Since I am looking to buy a 996, I'd be interested in paying mid-20's for a nice 02' nein nein six. I'm fairly 'local' too

POST 13Original post

I paid 26.5 last month for a 2002, silver on black, 73K miles, with a new motor at 32K miles. Clutch feels new, tires have good tread. Extremely clean interior, no dings at all. I bought it off a Porsche dealer lot. They'd had it since November '08. I think I got close to wholesale, I'm sure there was some left for the dealer though...
