Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Im not looking for maximum grip in the dry, Im mostly looking for comfort and a quiet tire, long-lasting, and also grip in the wet and a tire that will be ok in light snow if need be, but not a snow tire. Any recommendations?
Limited experience since I've only used them through this fall/winter but I've been very happy with the newest Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3. They have tested pretty well as an all around tire. Can't speak to longevity but with a 560 AAA rating it should last pretty long compared to a summer performance tire that is in the 300 region.

Comes down to what type of drive you want.
I run Michelin All Season 4S tires in my 996.2 in the cold weather months. Its a great all around tire with great steering response and performance on dry and wet pavement. Average in the snow but that's fine with me.
I put the Continental DWS6 on my daughter's Crosstrek. Another great tire for grip and year round driving in bad weather. Better in the snow than the Michelins.
Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 is also a great tire. I just put a set on my sister in-laws Lexus. Its a softer more quiet ride. Great in the bad weather, but I havent pushed it to see it's grip in dry weather for performance. I suspect it's very good since Pirreli has been making great tires. I love their all season run flat Scorpions on my Q7.

I have the Conti dws6+ as a cold weather set. They r a real good tire and did the Tail of the Dragon on a wet Nov day and they were great. The set i have rub on my front fender liners because the car is lowered. I think i followed the advice of someone on the board and the tire has a little more sidewall then stock for a softer ride. If u r midatlantic area i might be talked into selling them for a good price so i can get something smaller? I can mount and balance on your rims too.
Three votes. I have the previous version
Run 235/40 front, 265/35 rear on my 4S for shoulder season when it is too cold to run PS2.
Grip is more than adequate for street use.
Ive got the same setup. Been happy with the tire so far. Originally got them as a cold weather tire only but since my Michelin PS2s are 6 yo may just run them all year. have only one set of wheels so changing them out is a pain.
Because of limited available of all seasons in .2 sizes, I downgraded to 17" base wheels with Conti DWS 06+. They've been great and are more comfortable with the thicker sidewall.
Another vote for Conti DWS 06+.
Ive been running them on my Turbo for 6 months and very happy with them. My previous Conti EC Sport 02s had a little better grip but wore out pretty quickly.
I have the DWS06+ on my Cayenne. They're very good on that car, fairly quiet although the fronts are getting a little louder at about 1/2 worn. They are not great in snow even with all wheel drive; they're very good otherwise.
As long as you don't expect the same traction and sidewall stiffness as a high performance summer tire you would be happy with these.
I'm running Conti DWS 06+ - the sidewalls are very soft compared to any other tire I've ever owned. I've found I need to run at least 39 psi in the rear avoid sidewall flexing. They hold pressure well and are amazingly quiet on smooth road. I will buy another set.
