Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 996 is just off the coast of Portugal. Should be here on Thursday. The roll on roll of ship is the Faust! Opps - Bremerhaven

POST 2Original post

Steve, I'll bet you can hardly wait for her to arrive. Have you thought about putting a Red S on the back? It would look sweet on you black beauty. I had some time to kill this morning so I thought I would do a photoshop of your car with the Red S. You can get one from Erci at BumperPlugs. I believe the Red S is TUV approved.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Actually, I have thought about the red "S" and decided it is the second mod. The Photo shop is great - thanks!! I have the clear side markers in hand and they are going in the "kit" that I am building to take with me when I pick up the car. The Frau has secure the time off to fly to Hamburg with me (German wings) Europecar has my one way reservation to Bremerhaven Fuel coupons are in hand - Esso gas stations are mapped out Garmin GPS is programed European nav disks are in hand (German ebay) hope they work! PCM 2 and don't know the software version - these disks need version 3. The import papers are prepared - still have to obtain the plates and registration Insurance is in place Tire pressure gage is packed ADAC is up to date - as are the cell phone(s) The new car cd is prepared - Steppenwolf and Led Zepplin - and suggestons???

Steve, you are welcome. As a change of pace from Steppenwolf and Led Zepplin you could try the Best of Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). I like many of the tracks on that one.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Tim, Great recommendation! Some Tom Petty will be added as well.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

POST 7Original post

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We can go just a tad quicker here (sometimes). Tunnel vision is something to be experienced - where your eyes don't focus on close objects that are a few hundred yards in from of the car.

Ha, you really do have it mapped out. You still buy Esso coupons apparently. My German friends were always jealous of that (this was 20 years ago). Have fun.
