Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Outcome without a verified action link

I even tried to work with Ralph Boothe on some custom centercaps, but it didn't work out and I eventually sold the wheels.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I love my new BBS RS-GT's, but I would rather have a Porsche center cap instead of the BBS center caps. Wheel Enhancement said they don't exist, and BBS may have an agreement with Porsche AG that affects this. Does anyone know of any aftermarket source for center caps that would fit? BTW, I think some (older?) BBS wheels may accept Porsche center caps, but not the RS-GT's.

POST 2Original post

i thought the ones that come w/ the car would fit.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They do fit a lot of aftermarket wheels (I think including some older BBS wheels), but they do not fit the RS-GT's (at least that was what Wheel Enhancement told me, and they are the pros and I have no reason to disbelieve them).

POST 4Original post

I went through the exact same thing with my BBS LMs, long story short there is no way to fit a factory Porsche centercap. BBS makes their aftermarket wheels with proprietary centercaps on purpose since they are a major supplier to Porsche and other high end manufacturers. I even tried to work with Ralph Boothe on some custom centercaps, but it didn't work out and I eventually sold the wheels. It might be worth a try to have him make a centercaps if there is enough interest.

POST 5Original post

I went through the same thing but found a set of the carbon fiber background ones with silver bbs letters that are pretty sick and settled on those-
