Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

do you guys (and girls) think i can get a clean, low miles (under 20K), one owner car for under 55K?

Have you looked at Stevens Creek Porsche's used selection?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The seller decided not to sell (until possibly july) in the last minute. I was getting this for $46.8:

i am kind of upset because i already waited for the guy for two weeks to come back from his vacation and everything was going to plan and i was only two days away from driving such an awesome piece of machinery.
anyway, the search is back on. i was thinking of zooming in on a 2002 this time.
do you guys (and girls) think i can get a clean, low miles (under 20K), one owner car for under 55K?
I think you can definitely get one under 55k. Especially a coupe. Heck I bought a brand new 2004 C2 coupe this past December(unused dealer demo - 24 miles on the clock) for not that much more than that
That was an absolutely gorgeous car, but you're not missing out on anything special at that price - $46,800 is absolutely huge money for an 00 Cabrio, regardless of mileage and options.
yes i know it was on the high end, but the car included 11 months left on registration, two new rear tires, hard top stand and cover, new never used bra (which i'd sell anyways and never use), etc... plus it was one owner california car - which is exactly what i was looking for. oh well, i am slowly starting to get over the fact i wont be driving a 911 cab this weekend
your profile says you are in the business of buying and selling porsches... wanna help me find what i am looking for?
I bet you could get this car for about the same price and it's CPO. Search on Porsche at the site and you'll see the cabrio.

yeah, except its far away and it would be hard to get a car for me without looking at it first. flying to MD is not an option. but i see your point, that there are lots of cars like that in the range.
how do you guys feel about buyin a used car from a dealer? i always prefer to get directly from a private party and cut out the middleman.
heh.... yeah, of course highway 1
even had an dinner date planned with a friend of mine in santa barbara on the way back.
oh well, i am slowly getting over the fact that i wont be in a 911 by this weekend. what do you all think abou this guy:

not really looking for a four wheel drive - want to be able to do doughnuts or burn rubber from the stop light if needed
what do AdvTKPckg and DsnPckg include?
Have you looked at Stevens Creek Porsche's used selection? Go for an 02 to get the glass back cab with 3.6l.
The adv tech package consist of cd changer, wind stop, xenon. The design pkg has the side skirt but not full aerokit.
that car looks a lot like mine. Since I am not a registered member, I cannot list it for sale here. Anyway, it was on e-bay a couple of weeks ago and here is the link:

I will let it go a lot cheaper than $46.8 - you can buy it, buy an extended warranty for $2500, and have enough left over for a nice vacation. PM me if you are interested. AND you can drive it this weekend.
there's about 3 '02s at Carlsen, silver,gray,black c4 all cab, one '00 silver C4..
Call Gary Quibelan , he's the manager there, he buys all the used cars
remember he can certify
you can get 6yr 100K miles on a low mileage '02
We can all tag team and grind him...
yeah, gonna go check out some '02 tomorrow. went there today after work and with traffic on 101 got there at 7:15 - had no idea they close at 7
what do you think about the new 85x101 ramp? its pretty stupid in my opinion. the carpool lane now has people merge from the left and every time i drive there, it is an accident waiting to happen.
That ramp sucks.lol make sure call him tell him what you want, then go see it
no bs/salesman involve, i'll call him also tomorrow..
wow... u did a euro delivery on your M5? i love it,
just checked your site
nah, not M5. its a 2006 750i -- btw, the write up on my trip is here:
http://camel.ethereal.net/~jkb/ed
i do plan to do ED on a new bmw M6 in a couple of years and spend a whole summer in europe (if i dont get married by that time). just hang out there, drive the car on awesome roads with no speed limit... awwww drooool...
btw, i highly recommend to do ED to anybody who buys a german car. the experience can't be expressed in words. weird that porsche charges you for ED while with BMW you actually get a small discount off the car price.
btw, also check out jspira's write up on this trip:

hitting 155mph on an autobahn is a religious experience. especially knowing that you are totally safe doing it. i swear i felt as if i died and was driving in heaven
actually funny story. while going 15x mph i got passed by a 911 since they dont have a top speed limiter (unlike BMWs which are limited at 155).
also i got so much crapola from my "not so into cars" friends for taking so many pics of my cars in europe
this was taken on the autostrada (italy). actually i found autostradas to have just as good if not better road conditions compared to autobahn. but because you pay everytime you drive on autostrada, they are not as crowded (locals take backroads).
For that kind of money (47k) you're close to getting a nice 02. Why would a guy place a car on ebay, get his price, and then decide not to sell it? Trust me, he'll be kicking himself when he tries to sell it in July. He'll be lucky to get 42 in about 6 months.
JKB, great photos. I love the little elf man/woman you picked up the car from.
I'd love to do something like that when the kids are out of the house and the wife and I actually have some time....
thanks. the little elf is a BMW European Delivery center employee (and a guy). actually BMW runs a world class shop there - everybody there is super nice, knowledgeable and speaks great english.
dont wait for kids to get out of the house. take kids on the ED trip with you (unless you get a 2-seater). they will love it no matter what age they are. in fact, you should be on the phone today scheduling your ED trip right now :-) hehe... as you can see, i am a little too passionate about ED since my trip was such a blast and i am still thinking about it a year later.
btw, here is a great (albeit BMW oriented) ED forum:
http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=25
and here is a blog of some guy doing ED on his M5:

have i mentioned yet that you MUST DO European Delivery on your next new car?
