I had an RMS repair a month ago and since then shifting into 4th gear when cold is tough. All other gears seem ok but fourth requires some forcing and theres some resistance. Any have this issue before? After it gets fully warm then its not an issue. Thanks.

Shifting into 4th gear has nothing to do with your seal (RMS). You have noticed something new with your car (4th gear hard to engage while cold) at the same time you had work done on your car (RMS) and are trying to correlate the 2. Could be many things but your RMS has nothing to do with how a single gear engages.

Agreed A RMS has nothing to do with it, I should know I have had 4 done.

I have correlated the two only because it started to occur after the car came from the dealer from its RMS replacement. Dont they have to drop they engine out and remate the engine to the transmission? This seems like no small item to me and perhaps this could be the cause if it was perhaps not mated perfectly back together?
