I have to keep these Fabspeed ones in mind, I was able to reuse my OEM ones last summer to put on Vertex quad tips after a day and half of working on them with torch, impact driver, PB Blaster, and then used $5 worth of regular automotive fasteners to make it all work again, however I'm finding the heat I used on it last summer has likely soften the tab from the clamp so it's distorting under load to the point where I really have to tighten them two weeks ago after I put on the Fister D mufflers.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Those are a bugger to use. I had a loose tip and tried to tightened it up. Ended up bending the crap out of it. Bought the Fabspeed clamps for $30 each and they work like a charm. Easy to level the tips with these in place. To get the old clamp off I had to resort to a sawzall.
Yeah mine were seized up, I ended up dremmeling through the bolt. I guess I can call up the SC porsche dealer and order them. Vertex has then for 24 bucks

Did you reuse the OEM mufflers and tip pipes?I thought the standard v-band one would work, but the porsche ones seem to have wider grooves.
Where did you find it for $10/set?
I have Fabspeed cans with the factory C4S tips on them. The Porsche clamps are a tiny bit wider than a standard V-band clamp, but there is still plenty of "groove" there to attach the tips securely. You can get decent stainless steel V-bands on Ebay for cheap.
I have a set of fabspeed v-bands in my garage somewhere if you want them. Just a note, I couldn't get them to fit on a PSE style hack exhaust.
I'm local.....
You usually can get away with just cutting and replacing the bolt. No need to replace the clamp. A replacement stainless nut and bolt is about a buck from Ace Hardware.
Yeah I tried that, the bolts were completely seized to the clamp. I actually managed to losen up the nuts and back it out some 2cm, but the clamp was completely seized to the bolt.
Appreciate it, but my set up is PSE mod exhaust also (all stock piping), so I imagine I'd run into the same issues as you. Oh well, I managed to break 3/4 of the muffler to bracket bolts (rusted on solid), so I had to order stuff from Porsche anyway. Oh well.
