Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Hi folks, I looked up the options code on a 996 C4S I'm interested in, however didn't see the PSE (Porsche Sport Exhaust) option listed. However, the owner is adamant that the PSE is included in the car. Can someone confirm what the option code is for PSE? Also, if someone can please do a VIN lookup on the following: http://www.autoatlanta.com/life/vin/...AA29982S624036 I don't have access to AutoAtlanta since I'm not a customer. Thanks

Why not just look to see if it's installed? There should be a little button on the dash for controlling the sound level and the difference at the muffler is pretty obvious. If the car isn't local, just have the owner take pictures.

My previous owner had his installed at the dealer upon delivery and they did not include the button. So in my case the PSE is always on "loud" mode. The vacuum connection is there but just never controlled by anything.
