Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I'm sure Car and Driver is much more objective, with their 28 ads from BMW in every issue and their test cars they get straight from the manufacturer.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 2Original post

Is it just me or does this bring into question their ranking system?! Come on, one year for the "seismic drop" blamed on a single car that has been on the market for this long...I'm calling BS.

POST 3Original post

I used to say there are 3 types of lies: Lies Damn Lies and Statistics I will add a forth - consumer reports!! their "data" is about as accurate as looking at Rennlist for IMS data and concluding 62% of 996's have blown a motor by 50k miles

or was it 5.6%.... its one of those and all of the same.

POST 6Original post

Yeah yeah yeah, consumer reports... love those

POST 7Original post

Yeah, the nerve of CR actually buying their test cars from the dealer and not accepting advertising from anyone . I'm sure Car and Driver is much more objective, with their 28 ads from BMW in every issue and their test cars they get straight from the manufacturer. CR must be full of $hi4 because everybody knows German luxury cars never have problems, right?

POST 8Original post

I don't follow Cayennes (I'm not really sure why Porsche would build an SUV in the first place), but apparently the new model has some issues. The MB GL class and Range Rover series are the only true European SUVs. No offense to Porsche, VW, BMW, and Audi SUV owners, but they should stick to their knitting. I hope these issues don't carry over to the 991.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
