Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Not at all what I was looking for, but a nice change after all the beaters I've seen.

Drove almost 450 miles to Vegas, took a quick look, had it bought and paid for before I heard it run, drove it, or even sat in it.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Finally found a car I like and bought it a few days ago. Drove almost 450 miles to Vegas, took a quick look, had it bought and paid for before I heard it run, drove it, or even sat in it.
It looked brand new, not even swirls in the Basalt Metallic Black paint or even a piece of lint on the black mats. Not a scratch on the chrome wheels or a blemish to be found, looks new underneath as well. I bought it from a private party who has several nice vehicles and has owned this since '06.
Now, the car did have a PPI a week before by Gaudin Porsche and passed all 125 or so items same as CPO checklist. Car had 14,750 miles and could have passed for less than 5k. All books, 3 keys, been serviced 5 times in the last 11k miles.
I've put about 600 miles on it now and the car is nearly perfect in every regard. The chrome wheels will go away, the car may become slightly louder and lower. I cleaned it up yesterday after the trip home and went crusing topless for a while in the balmy 58 degree weather. Washed wife's Boxster too. Feels great to back in a 996.
natural is a beautiful color interior!!
WOW, nice find Nick !
good karma washing the wife's car, i do that too.... let mine be a little dirty and work on it hours on end, then wash hers before i do mine... smart move
I really like. A tan interior was something I was keen towards. Then I found my plain-jane black interior. But I couldn't pass on the speed yellow GT3 exterior. But I would have gladly given it up for a turbo.
BTW, I'm just trying to figure out how Francar's reply-post got in front of yours. Interesting bit of techno-messup.
Nick:
Really pretty car. Nice contrast between the interior and that black exterior. Enjoy it to the max!!!
Sure looks new to me. Of course, having only 14,000 miles on the clock, the car is damn near new anyway. I don't know that there would be that much difference between 5,000 miles and 14,000 miles, but I sure like the way it looks. Nice find.

wierd @ post #1 ahead of OP?
yea Nick, no worries on the little help I offered - truely shocked at the condition of some cars. I am glad you found "the one"
Very nice!
Enjoy!
As far as the weird posting thing, that was happening in OT a lot yesterday. It sparked several good posts about time travel.
Do you have a Delorean, francars?
