Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I wanted to know if anyone in the Central NJ area had Durametic to reset the airbag light?

The owner would need to be quite confident there were not more Porsches in his future or else the Durametric would not work on his new car once it had been used on 3 vehicles.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

IDK - I fixed my airbag light with a round black sticker (actually Mike fixed it, I just never took off the sticker, he laughed when he got in the car and saw his sticker was still there
I had an issue with my window which required disconnecting the battery and adjusting the slider. When I put everything back on, my airbag light came on.
I wanted to know if anyone in the Central NJ area had Durametic to reset the airbag light?
TIA
durametric is a software, OBD2 scanner that you can reset certain error codes with your laptop. You can also monitor engine, ecu parameters..... for diy'ers, a must have.

hmmmm. I have a little handheld one. But it doesnt do airbag or abs....
I always called it the check engine reset thingy tool.... I will now call it a Durametric
Just so ya know. The durametric is only good for 3 vehicles. So they are not particularly helpful for lending to a friend or meeting your request. The owner would need to be quite confident there were not more Porsches in his future or else the Durametric would not work on his new car once it had been used on 3 vehicles. The software keeps track of how many cars it has been used on.
This is not entirely true. You are allowed to interrogate as many cars as you like(as part of a pre purchase search, for instance) but it will allow you to
clear
codes from only 3 cars. However, the makers of Durametric will let you send the cable back once to be reset. So, technically, you could clear codes in up to 6 cars.
